Cycle Steps
This is a road route, that is mainly on country lanes, but finishes with a run home on the A4251. The first half of the route climbs and drops, while the second half presents long and flat roads.
You initially climb out of Berkhamsted, using Castle Street and New Road, into Ashridge, and all the way up to the highest point in the area, Ivinghoe Beacon. Then it's a downhill run into Ivinghoe Aston, before a long and flat return journey to Berko via Cheddington and Tring.
