I have not done this route, however, not knowing when S.Miller made the post, I just wanted to make all aware of a great new place to start and end this route. This being the new family run 'Sunnyhills of Belford' farm shop located on the outskirts of Belford Village. They are extremely accomodating and will do whatever they can to help. More information available at www.sunnyhillsofbelford.co.uk or call them on 01668 219662. They are open all year round apart from Mondays. Happy cycling.

A great route that I did last summer with a small group, some stunning countryside, we did a detour and took in Etal village as well which is worth seeing.

Note: There is a bike shop just south of Wooler (< 1 mile) on the A697 at Haugh Head Garage if you need anything.

This is a good route although can be improved by using a few more minor roads rather than b roads e.g. lowick-kimmerston minor road excellent. Also given previous comment highly recommend the well house coffee shop in belford.

This is on belford highstreet rather than out of town + has been fuelling hungry and thirsty cyclists for years.
