Basingstoke loop via Candovers and Alton. Mostly rural back roads. Reasonably hilly. Suitable for all bikes and cyclists. Plenty of nice scenery too. A339 probably the busiest road of the route so take care there.

An enjoyable round trip. Recommend avoiding the 339 & using the lanes to the east instead - hard to appreciate the scenery when trucks are whistling past your ears.

Plenty of pubs on the western side of the circle, take that section at more leisurely pace to have a look around.

I've done this one before and it's really nice. Basingstoke through the candovers is lovely. The roads aren't that much hard work going down either.

Going back however isn't as easy, compounded with how busy the A339 is. Other than that it's one of my favourites.
