| This route takes in much of the countryside of West Dorset and as a bonus en route, during the month of June, hundreds of Dorset Artists open up there studios so that you can have a look in. Most of the route is on quiet lanes (with 2 short bridleways that can be walked) so any sturdy bike will do the trick. If you leave a car at Yeovil Junction and catch the train 2 stops to Axminster you get great scenery and culture too! |
