Swansea to Devon

Hello there!
My partner and I will be cycling from the Mumbles in Swansea to Chulmleigh in Devon in September, does anyone know the best route to take?

Just cycled from Porthcawl to Brixham. Over two days. Basically A48 Swansea, Britton ferry bridge, Port Talbot, a48 Pyle, to Cardiff, City Centre, newport road, a48 Newport to codra, a48 to Monmouth, over severn bridge, Aust, then towards bristol airport a38 All the way to taunton. Thats where i stayed. If you need any more or are interested in the route , hills views etc e-mail...I have to look up the rest..
