Joined: 29 Apr 2010 Posts: 2 Bike: | Please let people know what cycle tracks you have in your area, and what they are like. You know, however people further afield don't, and Sustrans maps are mostly out of date. Someone on this Welsh site wrote, we don't have many tracks when in fact we have a lot. Problem is if we don't live near we don't know. I have 4 bikes one being a brompton, and I use this to get on a bus or train to get to a nice cycle track. That's the secret cycle the nice bits. What I would like to know now, Is the sustrans proposed track from Bridgend to Porthcawl completed? Thanks. |

Joined: 16 Jan 2009 Posts: 498 Bike: My Profile | it's a sad fact that the majority of cycle tracks and paths are so rutted with tree routes, overgrown with branches, or take you on bizarre detours, that busy traffic and potholes is a far far quicker and more comfortable way of getting to work. it;'s a shame. |
