Cardiff to Duffryn (House)

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a route, on the more quieter roads if possible, from North Cardiff to Duffryn Gardens. I can see a route along the A48 but was wondering if there is a queieter route? Thanks

Try going out of Cardiff via Fairwater, straight over next main road, through St.Brides-super-Ely and Peterson-super-Ely, then Gwern-y-Steeple and out onto A48, could then go straight over onto A4226 and left towards Dyffryn or when you come out onto the A48 go left for short distance then right down to Duffryn.

There are some beautiful lanes to cycle in the Vale, all accessible from Cardiff.
