| m doing the Lands End to John O'Groats trip over 12 days from 22nd June and am looking for a partner or maybe two to come along. The route will go through Devon and Cornwall (obviously) and then along the Welsh border (Leominster, Ludlow, across to Telford) then through my stomping ground (Manchester), past Kendal, Carlisle, up to Fort William and alongside Loch Ness and then... you get the rest.
Staying at friends/YHA's along the way.
Anybody interested in doing the same, let me know.
Cheers,
H

| My LE2JOG ended in tragedy when I was bumped off by a motorist in Tewkesbury.
My attempt was a Brevet Randonneurs Multiples - 7 days, and Tewkesbury was half way thru the second day.
My stops were/would be Wellington, Solihull, Barton upon Humber, Ashington, Kirkaldy, Inverness and up to JOG.
You'll have to go into north Wales for some hill training. If you can ride from Manchester to the Ponderosa Cafe at the top of Horse Shoe pass and back in a day, you're ready. I did it from Solihull as part of my training.
Good luck on your trip.
