Route (milage) Help

Joined: 31 Aug 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi everyone Im looking the distance (miles) of a route. The route I would like to know is if travelling along the Firth and forth canel path. How far is it in miles from Bishopbriggs to kilsyth. Hope someone can help. Tom |

Joined: 02 Jun 2009 Posts: 87 Bike: My Profile | Ordnance Survey maps are a fantastic way to route a journey and tell you how many miles it is. Each square is = to 1 Kilometer which we all know is = to 0.621 of a mile. They cost £6.99 each but if you go to the library they are FREE to pour over. You can photocopy sections and take notes till your hearts content. They work just as good today as when first invented and should not be underestimated just what a great tool they are for routes and distances. I use then all the time and have never got lost yet. Give them a go and see for yourself just how good they are. |
