Part Exchange bike shops in Glasgow

 Joined: 26 Jun 2010 Posts: 3 Bike: | Hello all, I was wondering if anyone can advise me on a good bike shop that will except my bike in part exchange for a new one. I bought a new hybrid just after Christmas and have tried to get on with it,its a good bike but really I am a road bike man really. I cant be bothered hanging around waiting for the bike to sell, would rather part exchange it and be done with it. Thanks for reading post and any help given, Gary |

Joined: 12 Jul 2010 Posts: 5 Bike: | Gary: I dont know of any particular shop that does part exchange, but the independents would be your best bet maybe they'll see the value of your bike and in order to clinch the sale of a new bike they might just offer you something on your hybrid. remember they have to make a profit and you wont get the market value as you might do on ebay or similar site. dales allow private sales on their noticeboard and i think from memory Clarkston cycle centre do the same, so it may be worth a try.
