Go over the bridge and then take a right and head up to Argyll street then left to byres road. Either way you will need to cross the river Clyde so you need to go the Tunnel big hill either end. Or the science centre bridge to the Clydeside expressway pedestrian bridge which you will have to walk over with your bike. Try One then the other and time yourself. I think it may be about the same distance whichever way you choose but one may be an easier cycle than the other. Another thing to consider is I've been through the tunnel a few times and had to pass young neds that were hanging about drinking. Fortunately although nervous I passed them without any trouble but don't really like the tunnel when I'm cycling alone. I think the science centre bridge would be safer. |
