Hi I'm new to this forum.
I've just completed the Amsterdame08 ride (York to amsterdam and back 250 miles) to raise money for marie Curie.
I am interested in doing the Scotland to Edinburgh ride on 14th september is anybody else doing it?

thanks
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne,

No worries :)

I had a quick look on their website for events in Scotland here but I couldn't see any on Sept 14th.

Do you have any more info regarding it?

Oh, one more thing. Watch out for the NEDS in easterhouse area. I mangaed to cycle all the way from Edinburgh with no trouble then as soon i hit Glasgow the NEDS appeared and started throwing rocks and stones at the constant stream of cyclists going by. An utter embarrassment to our country. Bunch of low lifes but apart from that its a well organised event, Enjoy!

Hi, just joined the forum, im doing it, my first year, only been cycling since the day after last years one, got asked to do last years, but it was only a weeks notice, and i wouldnt have managed it, so set an aim for this year, and been doing a bit of training for it, so hopefully should manage it.
and there will be 5, maybe 6 of us doing it. out most weekends building up for it!
