gettin a bike to get fit not been on a bike for years cld nybody tell me if this route avoides roads as i think itl take me a while to get use to a new bike

sounds good! yeah good route....all traffic free, on canal path, flat too! If you keep on going you can get to Loch Lomond! Oh well enjoy! happy cycling!

Andy, i've used this route a couple of times and it's good. No roads, but boggy when the rain falls..

Hi Andy the cycle path down past clydebank is great make sure you stop at bowling basin and check out the boats and great views

done that a cpl of weeks ago a good sunny morn was an excellent wee run with a great wee sit down in bowling cheers geo
