cycle routes near dublin...any recommendations

Joined: 22 Apr 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi, a few of us are coming from the uk in september. we are staying with a friend for a few days in dublin but then would like to go on a three or four day tour, staying in hostels of camp barns. we are on mountain bikes so would like some off roading. any recommendations or tips. Joined: 16 Jan 2009 Posts: 498 Bike: My Profile | i'd say contact Vagabond - http://www.vagabondtoursofireland.ie/ They organise standard and bespoke off-road tours of Ireland, and use hostels extensively. Whilst they are vehicular based, they do organsie MTB stuff as part of their trips, I think. depending on your budget, they may sort you out, even pick you up with your kit in Dublin and get you to the hills etc. worth an email or a call, i'd say. |
