Belfast to cork route - anyone know of?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a nice route from Belfast to Cork by bike....I'd like to stay off main roads if possible

The route would start in Donegal Place, Belfast and finish at the Cork University Hospital

Any help greatly received

The problem with this route is all the hills, when i did this last i needed about 9 days to complete, even after my 12 months of full time training I still struggled.

If you can choose another route, I'm doing london to glasgow via cardiff next year, I would

Hi Dave

Thanks for the response....Im confused now as I've got conflicting reports? I had one guy tell me it was pretty flat as it was the other side of the mountains.
Trouble is, I really want to do this route as it has a certain emotional attachment for me, so I'm doing loads of training and was feeling pretty confident.
But I'm doing it with a guy who's a bit out of shape and I'm worried he's going to hold me back as he's not really taking it seriously.

Good luck with the London to Glasgow next year...that's some route.
