I've been using the Satmap cycle GPS unit for about 8 months now, no complaints. As far as I am aware it is compatible with all route files, including GPX.

My Profile
I recently got a 'Garmin Edge 200' for Christmas. I must say I am absolutely amazed at it. It is very easy to fit on the bike with no cables, spoke magnets etc. It gives a constant readout of your current speed, time elapsed, distance travelled and average speed. But the real magic begins when you download your data onto your computer. It shows your exact route on a map and analyses your whole trip showing the gradients and how high you have climbed. It even works out how many calories you have burned.
My only negative is that it could do with a back light button for use at night.

I'm new to this site and I'm not sure about GPX files. Perhaps other members could help me with this ?
