Hi one and all....IM STEVE NEW TO THE SITE..BEEN READING SOME SITE PAGES FOR SOME TIME..BUT EVERYTIME KEEP COMING BACK TO THIS ONE.WITH YOU GUYS YOU GET MORE INFORMATION AND YOU ALL ENJOY CYCLING....GUYS MY QUESTION.... I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT CYCLING IN ITALY AROUND AREA OF , BARI / OSTUNI / INFORMATION I NEED IS WITH THE HEAT FROM THE ROAD SURFACE WHAT IS THE BEST TYRES TO US ( I HAVE A CLAUD BUTLER MOUNTAIN BIKE TYRE SIZE 26/1.95 . ALL HELP AND INFORMATION WOULD BE GRATEFUL....

not sure it is going to be a problem.
but then i'm no expert.

you're basically talking about cycling in temperatures of 10-15 degrees higher than a UK summer. Not a great deal in the grand scheme of things.

temperature variation may mean you have to pay more attention to tyre pressures..

are you road cycling?
are you using slicks or knobblies?

thank you for your reply dudley... i do travel alot to this area of italy all the time..
i will be doing road cycling
and the temperatures was what i was a bit worried about cos of the heat off the surface (road) and i will keep an eye on the tyre pressures
