Have just moved to South Queensferry and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good off road routes in the area.

My Profile 		You're kinda spoiled for rides round here! There's the route to crammond brig, just follow the seafront road under the forth bridge then turn left before the main road goes up the hill. From crammond you can follow the almond upstream to the airport, on the south bank. The North bank can lead you to Kirkliston where you can pick up the old railway track route back home. You've also got the lomond hills in fife(jump on the train), fire coastal path & pentlands behind Edinburgh. Happy exploring:)

Hi, appologies for jumping, but I am looking ro move out to South Queensferry for a familiy home. Just wondering if there are any areas that you would recommend and also say to avoid. I'm on my third flat/house purchase now and want to get this last one right!! Regarding cycle routes, I currently stay in granton and frequently to the cycle paths from crammond to south queensferry, lovely route, as is going over the bridge etc.
