| I'm trying to organise a bike ride from Skegenss back to Nottingham for our local football club, its for grassroots football and we need to raise £50k for our ground development, obviously this ride alone will not do it but we need to start somewhere
Does anybody have a route already planned or will I need to create my own route, TomTom states that it 79 miles
Any help you can give me is very much appreciated including how much I could expect from doing such a ride
Thanks very much

| Sadly, I think most of the people who frequent the site are looking for information on routes, rather than sharing their own. Look forward to hearing how your ride went though. Good luck on it.

| Hello, a friend and me are trying to work out a route from nottingham to skegness. Have you done yours yet? If so have you got a route? If not we're just looking into it and will let you know what we come up with.

| Hi,
I spent a couple of hours over the weekend trying to plan a route. It seems to be very difficult to find a relatively straight route that doesn't use main roads. The only ones I could see needed many very frequent turns. I'm trying to go from north Nottingham, near the Seven Mile House on Mansfield Road ( 53° 2'59.11"N 1° 8'58.61"W ) to "anywhere" picturesque on the coast using the shortest distance. I'd be happy to collaborate on plotting if you'd like to suggest an interesting route off the main roads.
All the best,
Mike

| I did this route 13 years ago, we used the main B roads without any problems. I suppose the traffic situation is a lot worse than back then.
we did notts to Grantham onto conningsby or sleaford then to the coast using an AA road map. I dont remember the milage, just remember it was very windy.

| HI
I do this ride regular. I would ride from West Bridgeford through to Newark, and then to Collingham. Carry on to T juction at the end of the road & turn left 56 mile to skeg
