What is the advantage of saving a route in GPX format?
Are there other formats?
What is avatar?

Hi Doubting Thomas,

GPX Format is a format that can be read by some cycle computers and GPS Devices. This allows you to load the cycle route a user has submitted on the device, then follow it whilst cycling.

A few of our members have these devices and have been uploading routes, so it was only fair to allow them to be downloaded in the format :)

An Avatar is just a virtual image of yourself, whether it actually resembles you, or just an random picture or person, thats up to you :P

Cheers

Happy
