You can drag the little guy onto any roads on your proposed route and take a 360 degree view of the surrounds. To take this on a step as part of my preparation for my 2012 tour of Northern Spain and Western France, I've been looking at trying to do a "fly over" the proposed daily route. So starting as a complete tech-novice, I thought I'd share this instructional video with you guys, it may give you an idea of how to record a tour in Google Earth and view it before you bike it! If anyone has tried this or is reasonably proficient, please post your tips! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co-iSCNmo68&feature=related |
