Need advice on hill climbing..

Joined: 10 Jul 2009 Posts: 2 Bike: | After riding a mountain bike along the canalsfor some time now , I realized to go further-a-field, I will have to start riding on the roads. However, roads usually come with hills, and that is what is restricing me at the moment. In order to practise riding hills on the MTB, what is the ideal weekly figure I should be looking at ? Twice a week allowing the muscles to recover, as in wweight training, or once a day, and gradually increase the difficulty of the ride.. Any advice would be appreciated. |
