Liverpool to Lancaster via Canals

Joined: 01 Feb 2012 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hi everyone, my sister and I have done a few cycling trips C2C etc, but want to cycle along the canals on a 2 - 3 day trip, thought of Liverpool to Lancaster, does anyone know of any accomodation along the route, we are both in our 50's so would take longer than most. Joined: 14 Feb 2012 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hi Sisters, there is a great place for accommodation, in Burscough, just off the canal. A couple of minutes cycle from the Leeds - Liverpool section of the canal. It is called Heskin Farm,great accommodation, you will see how close it is when you use google earth. They do a great breakfast. Tel 01704 894437. Very reasonable, and friendly. Good luck. By the way we are cycling from Morecambe to Liverpool in March for Motor Neurone Disease. |
