How accurate are the routes for distance?

My cyclo-comp seems to be somewhat erratic [buy cheap you buy it twice] but was wondering - how accurate is the total distance on routes here?

Also, I did my recent route in 2 hours - this site suggest 3.5 hours!

Either I'm quick [well quickish actually] or they have a low estimate for average mph!

The site has to average the time taken based on someone cycling 10mph. This is because everyone will be at different fitness levels.

The distance is an approximation but shouldn't be too far out. It all depends on how well the route has been plotted, the closer the the route is to following the road, the more accurate the distance will be.
