Delamere safe route

Hi,
I'm taking my children and one of their friends to Oulton Park tomorrow and plan to get the train to Cuddington or Delamere and cycle from there.

The boys are 8 and 10 so I'd prefer to use tracks and paths but can anyone say which is the best start point and safest route?

Any help would be appreciated,
