Calais to Venice, No don't Laugh

Joined: 05 Feb 2012 Posts: 2 Bike: | Hello, I am 62, have cancer and would like to ride to Venice. I have a friend who has ridden E'tapes and I have managed the Tourmalet is baby steps. It would be a life time achivement for me to take 3 weeks to ride to Venice. Can you offer any information, hints, tips, routes or/and suggestions. I thank you all. Livestrong |

Are you going to get others to jion you? How many miles a day? I would say you need to give us more info here so we can offer our help. |

We Andy and I will perhaps have a support-vanette, riding 60-80 miles (no rush) distance governed by the roads taken (?) and the B&B accommodtion locations (?) which we suspect would be F1 type hotels. Basic days would be rise, shower, eat, ride 50% meet aid, who prepared lunch, ride 50% etc repeat. Avoid steep hills. |
