looking for campsites near canal paths

can anyone help me? this summer im gonna cycle from watford to yorkshire using only canal tow paths. odd behaviour i know, if i use roads i cant take my dog with me. what i need is info on as many campsites close to canals as possible, you get double points if its a pub/campsite near a canal. ive looked on websites in the usual places, where i have found several, but info about any such campsites anywhere in the country would be usefull for this, and any future trips.

Have you looked on ukcampsite?

it won't tell you directly if its next to a canal but if you get placenames off your OS map you can search the site accordingly for ones close by

Failing that i would try british waterways for some info

My Latest Route: Jan 2010 Corley Circular via Fillongley and Ash Green
