Joined: 07 Mar 2011 Posts: 3 Bike: | I'm doing this route myself in April as part of my Luton to Paris charity ride, and I am going through Abbeville and Beauvais. It splits the Calais-Paris trip into three legs of approximately 80 miles each for a nice relaxed day of cycling. |

Joined: 11 Jun 2008 Posts: 17 Bike: My Profile | I prefer crossing from newhaven to Dieppe - the area north of Boulogne is not as nice as the countryside around Baie de Somme - if you want to go via Abbeville but there is a cycle path along an old railway from Dieppe to Forge les Eaux from where you can get to Seine river and Paris |
