Weekend rides in the Crosby area

Hi,
I've just joined as a member today and seems like a lively General Forum.
Spotted this Merseyside Forum. Does anyone live in the Crsoby, or surrounding areas, and fancy joining up for the odd Sunday afternoon ride ?
I'm MTB and prefer off-road routes, having cycled the beach coast path, Chesire Lines Path, Leeds/Liverpool Canal (both directions), put together routes combining all these elements and genrally investigating the area !
Would be great to join up with one or more likeminded moochers !

Hi Steve,
Just a few years too late I'm afraid.
I used to live on Chesterfield Road off Moor lane (Crosby) till I moved south.
If you're ever in Surrey/Guildford area, give me a shout, lots of bike afficianado's right here, you can't move for them in summer and great rides.

I used to cycle quite often last year up until my bike was stolen. Now I am preparing to buy the new one and I was thinking about finding some like-minded people who would like to join me on trips around Liverpool. I moved here 5 years ago but still find some parts of the city completely unfamiliar. I live in Walton but it obviously shouldn't be a problem to get to any part of the city so, if anyone's interested in hitting trails together (loop lane up and down, Crosby - Formby, basically anything what involves recreational cycling around Liverpool) pls get in touch on my mobile 07900581636 or drop me an email on iamsopro@gmail.com.
