Hi,

I am looking for someone to train with on weekends. Initially I am looking to do 20m gradually increasing it to around 60m (Cambridge/Brighton). I regularly commute during weekdays (10m each ways) but would like to do bit more on weekends.

Regards,

Hi,

I posted recently on a similar topic and would be interested. Live in islington and looking to do
Some wkend cycling outside of London. 20-30 miles is ideal but would be looking to build up as well as train on some challenging (hilly!)terrains. Let me know.

I don't have any specific routes or areas in mind. I am happy to do anything that is within fairly easy reach of London- Surrey, Hertfordshire. Do you know of any good routes ?

My Profile
guys you might like this route get a train to Twyford Berkshire then cycle Twyford-A4 towards Maidenhead ( can be busy week days but weekends is ok) - left towards Burchetts Green left onto A4130 towards Henley all the way there are two hills ofirst as soon as you join the A4130 but its not steep however Medmenham Hill is steep and about half a mileish, the downhills however make up as you get a real buzz, eventually you have a straight down hill into Henley u Thames, a bit of traffic hear go straight on turn right at lights towards Wallingford and you are on a testing but fantastic ride there are long inclines nut nothing majoroth routes are fast and fun. just go all the way to Wallingford you can come back via Reading or just come back the way you went but even on a weekday the traffic is light .
if you choose to come back via Henley turn right at the bridge towards Wargrave and Twyford .

This is about 40 miles total

Berkshire is just fantastic for queit road cycling the other route is Twyford- Windsor even on weekdays you can count easily the number of cars
