Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone knows a goog route to go from Ipswich to London on the bike, missing dangerouse roads, such as the A12.
It has to be ideal for a road bike.

My wife and I are Tandeming from Ipswich through London to Steining in Sussex next week. I think I've sorted out a route via Colchester, Titpree, Maldon, Brentwood, Romford (Travelodge), and using London Cycle maps right through London. I'll try to get back to you to say how we got on.

My Profile 		I know that the best way from Ipswich to Stratford Saint Mary is through Copdock, Capel Saint Mary and alontg the footpatrh along the A12.

Does anywone know how to get onto the footpath along the A12 to Colchester from stratford saint Mary please?

Sustrans web site, there is a cycle path from colchester to london. Ipswich to colchester thete is a cycle path, probably also on the sustrans site.
