Hi Lucia

I would recommend you head out through Ashford Chertsy and Woking to Guildford and then join the Downs Link cycle path, south of Guildford, which will take you all the way to Shoreham-by-Sea. Once on the Downs Link you will be nearly all off road on posted cycle path, This path follows the route of an old railway line which used to connect the two via Christs Hospital, south of Horsham, and is pretty flat through out the entire length. There are some nice places along the way, including Cranleigh, Southwater, and Henfield, and Horsham itself is only a couple of miles off route. Also there are a number of places to stop off, and I can recommend the Bax Castle PH just off the path between Christs Hospital and Southwater, and also the cafe in Southwater Country Park, which should be open throughout the Easter hols. Also the route, though busy at times, very out of the way and you will enjoy the piece and tranquillity of the Sussex countryside.
Have a good day, and if want more info please get in touch.

Steve
