Last longer ride I did was 11 miles in just over an hour (17km/h). Joined: 30 Apr 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: My Profile | Hi Dave, I live in Long Sutton which is about 20mins drive from Farnborough. I'm trying to get a bit of weight off for The London to Brighton in June. I'm an overweight 48 year old riding a mountain bike on slick tyres. Usually try to get out on a saturday or sunday and cycle around the country lanes for 25 to 35 miles. Average between 12 and 15 miles an hour depending on how flat the route is. I'm happy to drive over or you can come to me. I've also got a friend who lives near Aldershot/Farnham who will probably come out with us. |
