Cycling from Bilbao to Tangiers via ferry crossing....

Joined: 28 Aug 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Hi all, I'm encouraged to see this website, as hopefully I'll learn about what I intend to do. I plan to get the ferry from Plymouth to Bilbao, and go on somewhat of an Architectural tour of Spain heading south via Salamanca, Merida, Savile, Gibraltar before getting the ferry to Tangiers, Morroco. I plan to leave the end of September, and spend up to 5 weeks cycling. I'm starting to think I can do this must faster, but I am in no rush. I may then plan on cycling to Marrakesh. Is this possible recommended? I don't know what bike to choose, although I'm trying to keep it as budget as possible. Anyway advice, comments, and ideas are very welcomed..
