Hello,

Next sunday (28.06) I plan to cycle from London to Milton Keynes. Currently I am planning the best route and I found in the internet that National Cycling Route 6 is the best option. Only worry is that it seems that the route is not completed between Watford and Harpenden and Harpenden to Luton.

Does anybody know more about that? What would be the best route? Which kind of bike would you recommend - how is the track? Would a roadbike work out?

I would be happy to hear from you guys that did cycle that route already!
regards and many thanks in advance!

See the grand union canal thread.

Relaxing in good weather.
At least in the past you needed to print out a permit from the British Waterways web site.

WOndred where I had heard the term Lorelei before.

A great track by the Cocteau Twins.
