C2C with Reivers with Hadrians

Joined: 26 Jun 2010 Posts: 1 Bike: | Has anyone combined West to East, starting Whitehaven/Workington going up coast on Hadrians Route to roughly Carlisle then on Reivers Route, past Kielder, along to Newcastle area and picking up C2C Route to visit Beamish? Interested in anyones experiences, route, miles, number of days please! |

Sorry i can't help you much as i have not completed the reivers route! but its on my to do list.Although i have ridden sections of it(on the way to somewhere else)and it seems a good route.. Not sure about how you plan to get to beamish from newcastle on the c2c..are you intending to ride from Newcastle to Sunderland along the tyne then coast and pick up the c2c at roker, or ride from N/castle along the derwent valley to consett(prob the best way) and then drop down to beamish...Are you planning to camp or use b&bs along the route This could have a bearing on how long it would take..and the number of miles each day.. |

Doing the C2C starting neaxt Sunday with Outrunner and 2 others. Hadrians Wall route and Reivers route are also in my mind, possibly later this year or neaxt. |
