Blackpool to South Devon Bike Ride

Hey Guys, Im planning a ride from Bispham in Blackpool to Totnes in South Devon, over about a 10 day period. However i do not want to stay in travel lodges along the way, i would like to camp where possible however i do not know how to go about planning a route that there will be places to camp along the way. I plan to do aprroximately 30-40 miles a day, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I arranged a 250 mile sponsored bike ride last year and throughout the ride we stayed on camp sites. First of all I planned my route using Google earth and also auto-route. With google earth there is a measuring tool. Then along the route I marked out the area of each planned stop. ie say Knutsford. I then went onto www.ukcampsites.co.uk and entered Knutsford this then showed me all the camp sites in and around Knutsford and so on.
