Bike parking in Maidstone town centre

Hi,

I'm moving back to the Maidstone area after many years and want to do as much of my travel as possible by bike. Does anyone know if there is anywhere (safe) to park bikes in Maidstone town centre? I'd like to be able to cycle into town, park my bike, do a bit of shopping, have a coffee, and then cycle home.
