3-day ride from York to Cambridge

A group of us (some fairly new to the saddle) are planning a 3-day ride from York back home to Saffron Walden (about 15miles south of Cambridge). Looking at maps, stops around Gainsborough and Spalding seem to be good options for us. Does anyone have any recommendations, ideas or thoughts on decent routes that would be suitable for us? As I say, we have a fairly mixed group of cyclists so we'll be looking at quite direct routes (around 60-70miles per day). Thanks in advance, any help much appreciated. Andrew |
