riding to dover from london

just wondering if anyone has done this before. Am going to ride on Monday 29th down to dover ferry and across to Calais. Need advice on the best route...is the A2 all the way down to Canterbury and then south the best route!? Thanks for your help!

My Profile 		I would suggest avioding A2 if you can can get very busy at times.
As for cycling in France its a different world its a lot better than UK.

My Profile 		That's always been the problem getting to ferry ports etc the english part is always the most dangerous so I tend to drive park and then enjoy the european side less stressy
