Planning a ride from London to Barcelona via Portsmouth and Caen. I am allowing 15 days need help for a route with minimum hill work and of course as little traffic as possible. I will be doing this on a coast to coast touring bike with slicks so naturally need good quality roads. Any help with the route would be appreciated. I will be staying in cheap hotels and plan to leave France Perpignan to Barcelona. Given my age of 63 and not having cycled much for over 20 years I don't want to take on much more than say 60 to 70 miles per day. I have started training and am doing frequent rides of 50 or 60 miles.
