Liverpool to Hull

Joined: 10 Sep 2015 Posts: 1 Bike: | Is it possible to ride from Liverpool to Hull using only, or predominantly river and canal towpaths. This is intended to be part of a larger project with ferry Hull to Rotterdam then via European waterways to Salzburg to celebrate my 65th birthday in 2018. Cheers for any help |

You can click your start and finish points and then drag parts of the route around to avoid any sections you don't like the look of ( main roads, hills etc. ). It also has an "avoid highways" feature that you must check before you calculate the route and it can create a cue sheet if you want. Although I normally save off a gpx file to download to my Garmin. I'm sure you could download to a tablet, phone or similar. Hope this information helps Cheers Chris |
