A group of us are thinking of cycling from Malmesbury, Wiltshire to Portsmouth, getting a ferry to Caen and then cycling to Paris. Does anyone have any suggestions for any part of this route?

Hi, I did a charity route with 'tallstories'/charitychallenge and the route went from Twickenham to Portsmouth. It then went from Caen to a town called Evreaux then onto Paris from there (was about 240miles in total). Not sure of the exact route but you may be able to get in touch with someone from there to give you some more info? Was a great route, quiet roads 99% of the time in France.

Morning!

There are 8 of us going that route from Virginia water on 16th May

Roads and villages are fabulous, best route we have found is actually heading UP the coast to Hornfleur, then south of Rouen, along the river into Paris.

Great thing is that the villages are wonderful, and we will just wing it on the basis oc cycling, bars, restaurants!!
