Buying a bike in Paris

Bike:

My boyfriend and I are travelling to Paris in September. We will be covering France and Spain.
We would like to purchase 2 bikes (possibly folding) to do some cycling while there.
Can anyone recomend some good resources to purchase second hand bikes. Any other tips would be welcome.
