Hi everyone,

I've just started cycling again after a couple of years break, and find that North Tyneside council have done quite a bit of work on many of the cycle paths.

They've also produced a set of leaflets with short circular routes (5 miles ish), based on the old mine rail tracks, which can be found at:

Yeah there is six available. Most toruist info and lubraries will have all of them but just display the aera its in!

There is six available:
1. Southeast Northumberland
2. North Tyneside
3. South Tyneside
4. Sunderland
5. Gateshead
6. Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hope this helps, and also NCN 14 (Keelmans Way) is diverted a fair bit at the moment just after the Baltic, going west to east from there. Bit of nightmare, but just keep your eyes open for signs!
