London to Leeds cycle route

Good morning all.
A few collegaues at work (who work in London) are putting the plans into motion for a Lonton to Leeds cycle for a local Leeds charity that are company is currently supporting.
We have one stumbling block first of all and that is the route, we have no idea how to start.
Any help would be appreciated.
