Bognor Regis to Ben Nevis

Hi

Me and a work Colleague are planning to do a slightly different than normal charity cycle. We are planning to cycle from Bognor Regis in West Sussex all the way to Ben Nevis in Scotland.

We haven't done this sort of thing before, and were are currently trying to plan the best route to take.
Would anyone have any suggestions or advice regarding our route? We would like to go via the pennines and the Lake district.

I know we sound a little insane, but we believe it will be worth it for our two charities - Kidney Research UK and Chestnut Tree Childrens Hospice.
