I saw an excellent shed door lock on ebay made by crookstopper.com. It looks an amazing piece of kit. Has anyone brought one and if so what is it like.

Looks good and sturdy stuff if a bit pricey.
I prefer the hang on the wall hook with a chain through, if they want to nick my wheels they can.
My shed is a bit paper thin and they could probably go through the wall if they really wanted to.
I guess anything would work as a deterent if it looks like it may take more than a minute or 2 to bypass.

Wow that is expensive.

For the price of an AA battery and a single red LED pulsing in the window, my shed looks like it is alarmed at a fraction of the price.

Having lost bikes in past one very expensive one as well fit what ever security you think you need I am not disclosing my levels but one thing i would advise is if you have windows in shed cover everything inside so people cant see what is there and make things not easy to get to.
Also make sure you take photographs of itmes and tell your insurance (most policy only cover up to £500) unless you tell insurance other wise.
I know belive me when i told them the bike stolen was wort over 2grand ,they just said well you did not make special provision, yes i know the premium will be higher.
But whats worst!
PEOPLE WHO STEAL BIKES ARE SCUM AND PEOPLE WHO BUY THEM KNOWING THEY ARE NICKED ARE EVEN BIGGER SCUM!

Totally agree with you there Rustyspoke, my shed was broken into last September and my Specialized Tricross Sport taken, my dog heard the noises as the Scumbags were trying to release my pride and joy, my 1 month old Van Nicholas Pioneer and set of barking which in turn sent the Scumbags running leaving my Pioneer still, but only just, inside my shed. The Police said that these type of vermin are not bothered weather you have security lights or not (I had fitted some 1 week before) what they don't like is noise. If you have a wooden gate that they have to enter by put something behind it so as when they open it they will knock it over and make noise, Metal Sheds are noisier than Wooden sheds and fit a window shaker to the door so when they shake the door on opening it goes off.

I now have CCTV in my back and Motor Bike security chain and clamp bolted to a concrete floor, by the time they get through all that I will be down for Breakfast and invite them in for their last meal.
