New road bike for lady - what frame size?

Joined: 11 Jan 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | Is there a bike shop that stocks a ladies road bike in a small frame size (I'm 5ft 4ins)at a reasonable price £3-400. I've given up looking - don't ladies ride bikes? |

Joined: 17 Mar 2011 Posts: 91 Bike: My Profile | Hi I just found this doing a really quick search on google shopping http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/product/41488/Viking_Elysee_Bike_2011 It is a Viking with 53cm frame so shoudl be a perfect fit. if you are unsure at all regarding size go to your local bike shop and ask what size bike would suit your frame, at the end of the day they can not charge for advice and you have no obligation to buy the bike they offer you. I have had a viking bike in the past which was single speed cant fault that one but when you put gears on as considering the low price it may not be as smooth and clean as one running better components. hope you find something happy trails |

It's essential you get fitted properly at a good bike shop. Lots of ladies ride bikes and I suspect they did the above! Good luck! |
