I used to do quite a bit of single track riding across the fields behind our old house. Then my bike got stolen, and we moved house shortly afterwards. Got married, had a baby - you know how life goes. I've recently signed up to take part in teh London to Brighton, and haven't really been on a bike (other than the twice yearly trips to Centre Parcs) for years. Bought a roof mounted cycle carrier, kiddie trailer and new helmets all round in the hope that we can go out as a family more and more often. I'm not really your classic cycler 'build' - being 6ft 7 and 18 stone, but I do make a good lead cyclist! |
